Come discover the past, present and future of space exploration at Huntsville’s own US
Space and Rocket Center. Follow the history of the US space program from Dr.
Wernher von Braun, through the Moon missions, Space Shuttle program, International
Space Station and see what NASA has planned for the future.
The US Space and Rocket Center is the home of Space Camp and Aviation Challenge
where grade school and high school students from around the world experience
astronaut training.
While there, you will be able to visit the Davidson Center for Space Exploration and see
the fully restored Saturn V, the rocket that took Apollo astronauts to the moon. Also
included is the traveling exhibition: Mammoths and Mastodons, Titans of the Ice Age.
With 15 or more individuals, the price will be $11.00 per person. Plan on leaving the
Embassy Suites at 12:00 and returning around 3:30 on Friday, 15th of June.
